Ras Al Khaimah Scout Commission and Guide Commission participated in the “Haq Al Laila” celebration organized by RAK Mall on Friday, February 14, 2025. The event gathered 35 scouts and guides in a festive atmosphere promoting social solidarity and community engagement.
The event began at 5:00 p.m. and continued until 8:00 p.m., featuring cultural and recreational activities designed to highlight Emirati heritage and introduce younger generations to the traditional celebration of the mid-Sha’ban night.
The program started with a briefing session led by activity supervisors, followed by distributing sweets to children and visitors around the mall. Scouts and guides also took part in traditional games and interactive performances that reflected the cultural essence of the occasion.
At the end of the celebration, participating scouts and guides were honored for their active role and contribution to the success of the event, emphasizing the value of volunteerism and community service within the scouting movement.
Organizers stated that taking part in such cultural events strengthens national identity, fosters community spirit, and reinforces the scouts’ and guides’ mission in preserving heritage and promoting unity across all segments of society.
