The Ras Al Khaimah Scout Commission took part in the “Zayed Al Khair Fina” initiative on Thursday, March 20, 2025, organized by the Ministry of Defense in partnership with the UAE Red Crescent. The event was held in the Al Uraibi area of Ras Al Khaimah, with the participation of Scouts, Brownies, and a group of volunteers dedicated to humanitarian service.
The initiative aimed to provide support to low-income families and workers by distributing Iftar meals, promoting social solidarity and compassion, and reflecting the Emirati values of generosity and unity inspired by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
The activity ran from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., during which participants distributed food packages in an orderly and safe manner, following proper security and logistical procedures to ensure smooth delivery.
Organizers praised the scouts and brownies for their active role and teamwork throughout the event, highlighting the importance of engaging youth in charitable efforts to build social awareness and instill compassion and responsibility from an early age.
The Ras Al Khaimah Scout Commission reaffirmed that this participation aligns with its mission to promote volunteerism and community service while strengthening the culture of giving and humanitarian work across the emirate.
